This page explains which data BatteryCalcs processes and which data stays only in your browser.
Data we collect
After you give consent, we use Google Analytics 4 with identifier G-YMQPCY6HZ2. Google Analytics stores the _ga and _ga_YMQPCY6HZ2 cookies on your device. Without consent, neither cookie is created.
The web server keeps ordinary technical logs, as every website does.
Data that stays on your device
Your selected language (bc_lang), your choice in the consent banner (bc_consent), saved calculations (batterycalcs.saved.v1) and the service-worker cache stay only in your browser. Saved calculations are not sent to our server.
The calculators perform all calculations in your browser. The service-worker cache lets the site work without an internet connection.
What we do not do
We do not provide accounts or registration. We do not provide a contact form; the site only shows an email address.
We do not sell data or share it with third parties other than Google Analytics after consent.
Your choices and contact
You can withdraw analytics consent at any time using the link in the site footer. Withdrawing consent deletes the _ga cookies; it does not merely change the banner setting.
